This vegetarian burger is made with cauliflower roasted with cumin and Turkish red pepper flakes, mixed with breadcrumbs, and shaped into patties. Serve it with yogurt sauce for a hearty meat-free lunch or dinner.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Roast the cauliflower

15 min

Toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, cumin, and Turkish red pepper flakes. Roast at 200°C / 390°F for 15 minutes.

2

Prepare the mixture

10 min

Roughly mash the roasted cauliflower with a fork, then mix it with the breadcrumbs, egg, and garlic.

3

Cook the patties

10 min

Shape the mixture into flat patties and cook them in the oven or a skillet for 8–10 minutes, until browned on both sides.

4

Assemble the burgers

3 min

Place the lettuce and tomato on the bottom half of each bun, add a cauliflower patty, top with yogurt sauce, and close the burger.

Reminder

Important: Dry the cauliflower thoroughly before roasting, or the mixture may become too wet for the patties to hold their shape. Allergens: Contains gluten (breadcrumbs and burger buns) and dairy (yogurt sauce).
