Sandwiches, burgers, and wraps
Spicy beef wraps are made by quickly sautéing diced beef over high heat with charred hot peppers and spices, then wrapping it in lavash. The dairy-free sauce makes this a convenient option for people with lactose sensitivity.
Char the hot peppers in a dry skillet, turning occasionally, until the skins blacken. Then finely chop them.
Heat the olive oil over high heat, add the diced beef, and sear undisturbed for 5 minutes. Add the onion and crushed garlic and sauté for 2 more minutes. Add the charred peppers, red pepper flakes, and salt, then stir.
Warm the lavash slightly. Divide the beef mixture and parsley among the flatbreads, then roll them up tightly.
Cook the diced beef over high heat for a short time; prolonged cooking can make it tough. For a spicier wrap, leave the seeds in the hot peppers and adjust to taste. Contains gluten (lavash/wheat flour).
