Almond date energy balls are a no-bake snack made in minutes by blending pitted dates with almonds and cinnamon and rolling them into small balls. Carrying the healthy fats of almonds rather than saturated fat, this is a practical choice for a heart-healthy bite.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Grind the almonds

3 min

Pulse the almonds in a food processor until coarsely ground, then set aside.

2

Blend with the dates

4 min

Add the pitted dates with cinnamon and salt to the processor and blend until you get a sticky mixture.

3

Shape the balls

5 min

Pinch off small pieces of the mixture and roll them between your palms into balls.

Reminder

Always remove the pits from the dates before blending; a forgotten pit can dull the blade. Allergens: contains tree nuts (almond).

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

If the mixture sticks to your hands, wet them lightly before shaping; if it is too dry the balls fall apart, so it matters that the dates are soft and moist enough.
