A plant-based milk alternative with a mild nutty flavor, made by blending raw almonds soaked overnight in water and then straining. It can be used at breakfast or in coffee drinks by those sensitive to dairy products.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Soak the almonds

480 min

Soak raw almonds in plenty of water for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.

2

Drain and rinse

5 min

Drain the soaked almonds and rinse them with clean water.

3

Blend

5 min

Put the almonds with fresh water into a blender jug and blend on high speed for 2 minutes until smooth.

4

Strain and sweeten

5 min

Strain the mixture through a fine cheesecloth or nut milk bag to separate the pulp, then add optional sugar and salt and stir.

Reminder

Allergen: contains nuts (almond). Note: Don't blend the almonds without soaking them in water for at least 8 hours, otherwise the yield after straining will be low and the texture will remain grainy.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

To sweeten almond milk, you can add a few dates or a dessertspoon of honey and blend them together.
