Kalter hund, the classic oven-free children's dessert of Austrian and German kitchens, is built by layering whole-grain oat biscuits with a chocolate cream. The layers set in the fridge and give clean lines when sliced.
Melt the butter and coconut oil over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the cocoa, powdered sugar and vanilla and mix for 5 minutes until smooth.
Fold the roughly crushed oat biscuit into the mixture until fully coated.
Pour the mixture into a rectangular mould and press it firmly.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 90 minutes to set.
Press each layer to an even thickness, or the layers will look uneven when sliced. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten), milk and dairy (butter).
Buzdolabında tarifteki 90 dakikayı beklemeden 50 dakikada dilimlemeye kalktım, katmanlar tam sertleşmemişti ve sekiz dilimden üçü dağıldı. Kendi hatamdı ama beklemenin gerçekten önemli olduğunu anladım.
