Soak the rice
60 minSoak the rice in plenty of water for at least 1 hour, then drain.
A staple of Korean baby feeding, this dish is made by pressure-cooking rice with beef and carrot until it turns into a completely smooth porridge. It suits babies 10 months and up for breakfast or a light meal.
Soak the rice in plenty of water for at least 1 hour, then drain.
Sauté the beef in the sesame oil for 5 minutes until it changes colour.
Add the drained rice, carrot and water, close the pressure cooker lid, cook for 15 minutes once it comes to pressure, and let it release naturally.
Blend the mixture until it forms a completely smooth porridge.
Don't skip soaking the rice for at least 1 hour; unsoaked rice won't turn fully smooth even in a pressure cooker. Allergens: contains sesame.
