A dough kneaded from oats, mashed banana and grated apple is shaped into small balls and lightly baked, making a sweet snack that babies and young children can safely enjoy at a party table.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Make the Dough

10 min

Mix the oats with the mashed banana, grated apple and cinnamon into a sticky dough.

2

Shape the Balls

10 min

Form small round balls from the dough and arrange them on a baking tray.

3

Bake

15 min

Bake the balls in an oven preheated to 170°C for 15 minutes until lightly golden.

Reminder

Keep the balls small and soft; avoid large, hard pieces because of choking risk.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

Grated pear can be used instead of apple; the sweetness will come out a touch milder.

Kızımın birinci yaş partisi için ilk kez denedim, boyutları küçük tutmak gerçekten önemliymiş. Yulaf ve muzun kokusu fırından taşınca misafirler de sordu tarifi, çocuklar da çok sevdi.
