A high-protein, high-fiber baby mash made with boiled chickpeas, carrot, and zucchini. A filling main-meal option for babies moving on to more textured foods from the tenth month onward.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

5 min

Peel the skins off the boiled chickpeas as much as possible.

2

15 min

Cube the carrot and squash and boil with a little water until soft.

3

5 min

Blend the chickpeas and boiled vegetables with olive oil to a consistency suitable for your baby's stage.

Reminder

Important: Don't use salt or spices in baby food. Peeling off the chickpea skins as much as possible reduces choking risk. Introduce new foods one at a time and watch for signs of allergy; consult your pediatrician about feeding schedules. Consume the mash the same day, or portion and freeze it.

Editor's Note Bebek Beslenme Notu

Soaking the chickpeas overnight and boiling them until soft makes digestion easier. You can leave the mash smooth or slightly chunky depending on your baby's stage.
