Wash the liver and clean off the membranes, then chop the carrot.
Chicken Liver Purée | High-Iron Recipe for Babies 8 Months and Up
A filling baby puree high in iron, made with boiled chicken liver and carrot. A nutritious main meal option for babies moving on to a variety of organ meats from the eighth month onward.
How to make it?
Boil the two together with a little water until the liver is thoroughly cooked.
Blend with the cooking water until smooth.
Reminder
Important: Don't use salt or spices in baby food. Make sure the liver is fully cooked and its membranes are removed. Introduce new foods one at a time and watch for signs of allergy; consult your pediatrician about feeding schedules and frequency. Consume the puree the same day, or portion and freeze it.
Editor's Note Bebek Beslenme Notu
Soaking the liver in milk briefly lightens its sharp odor. Cooking it together with carrot and turning it into a puree also provides the vitamin C that supports iron absorption.
