Inspired by the south of France, this pasta is made by warming olive oil with thyme, garlic and chilli flakes and tossing it quickly with boiled pasta. Cream-free and light, it brings pasta to the table in just a few minutes.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Boil the pasta

9 min

Boil the pasta in salted water for the time stated on the package, setting aside a ladle of the cooking water before draining.

2

Warm the olive oil

3 min

Warm the olive oil over low heat with the garlic cloves, thyme and chilli flakes for 3 minutes, without letting it boil.

3

Toss together

2 min

Add the drained pasta along with the reserved cooking water to the olive oil mixture and toss for 2 minutes.

4

Serve

1 min

Sprinkle with grated parmesan and serve hot.

Reminder

Warm the olive oil with the thyme and garlic gently; high heat makes the garlic bitter. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten, pasta).

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

Adjusting the chilli flake amount together with the pasta water lets the heat spread without throwing off the balance.

Paketimde makarna 9 dakikada pişiyordu ama benim tenceremde 11 dakika sürdü, biraz daha kalın çıkmış olabilir. Sarımsağı 3 dakika yerine 2 dakikada çekince acılaşmadı, bu ayarı tuttum.
