Spicy sucuk pasta is a practical main made by tossing boiled pasta with a spicy beef sucuk sauce, topping it with kaşar cheese, and finishing it quickly in the air fryer. The air fryer's intense hot air browns and bubbles the cheese almost as fast as a conventional oven would.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Boil the pasta

12 min

Boil the pasta in salted water for 2 minutes less than the packet time, then drain.

2

Make the sauce base

8 min

Cook the onion in the olive oil, then add the beef sucuk and pul biber and cook for 3 more minutes.

3

Combine with the sauce

3 min

Stir in the tomato paste and mix with the boiled pasta.

4

Top with cheese

5 min

Transfer the mixture to the air fryer dish and sprinkle the kaşar cheese on top.

5

Air-fry

12 min

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C and cook for 12 minutes until the cheese melts and browns. If you don't have an air fryer, you can get the same result in a preheated oven at 180°C in 15 minutes.

Reminder

Boil the pasta 2 minutes less than usual — the time it spends in the air fryer keeps cooking it, and boiling it fully first leaves it mushy. Do not overfill the air fryer basket, or reduced air circulation can stop the cheese from melting evenly. Allergens: contains wheat (gluten), milk and dairy (kaşar cheese).

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

If you use beef pastırma instead of sucuk, cut back the salt by a pinch, since pastırma is noticeably saltier.

Makarnayı tam sürede haşladım, airfryer'a girince iyice yumuşadı ve dokusu lapa gibi oldu. Tarifte 2 dakika eksik haşlayın yazıyormuş, ben o kısmı okumadan atlamışım galiba.

Haklısınız, o 2 dakika eksik haşlama gerçekten önemli; airfryer'daki ekstra pişme süresi makarnayı yumuşatmaya devam ediyor. Bir dahaki sefere süreyi kısaltmanızı öneririm.
