Made by blending avocado with airfryer-cooked chicken breast, this purée contains no added sugar or grains, giving it a low-carb, higher-fat profile suited to babies starting solids. Since it uses no dairy, it also works for babies on a lactose-free diet.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Cook the chicken

20 min

Cook the chicken breast in the airfryer basket on high heat until it turns fully white inside and releases its liquid.

2

Prepare the avocado

5 min

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and mash the flesh with a fork until smooth.

3

Blend into a purée

5 min

Break the cooked chicken into small pieces and blend with the mashed avocado, olive oil and lemon juice until completely smooth.

Reminder

Check the temperature with your finger before feeding your baby; the edges of airfryer-cooked chicken can stay hotter than the centre. Avocado browns once exposed to air, so serve the purée the same day you make it.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

Adding a little more olive oil makes the purée even higher in fat, which keeps babies fuller for longer. Turkey breast works just as well instead of chicken.

Bebeğim ilk denemede püreyi biraz sulu bulduğu için yemedi, ikinci seferinde tavuğu daha iyi süzüp avokadoyu az su ile blenderdan geçirince kıvam koyulaştı ve rahat yedi.
