Grated zucchini, carrot and ground chicken are bound with egg and shaped into finger-length bites, then baked. With no dairy in sight, this recipe fits easily into a picnic basket or lunchbox as a practical hand-held bite for babies.

Step by Step

How to make it?

1

Prepare the Mixture

10 min

Knead the ground chicken with the grated zucchini, carrot, egg and breadcrumbs in a bowl.

2

Shape the Bites

10 min

Shape the mixture into finger-length bites and arrange them on an olive-oil-greased baking tray.

3

Bake

20 min

Bake in an oven preheated to 190°C for 20 minutes, turning halfway through.

Reminder

Make sure you have squeezed the zucchini's liquid out well before shaping; otherwise the mixture spreads out in the oven. Allergens: contains gluten (breadcrumbs), egg.

Editor's Note Editörün Notu

Ground turkey can replace the chicken; since it is a touch less moist, reducing the breadcrumbs by one spoonful is enough.

Tarifte dusuk karbonhidratlı deniyor ama galeta unu eklenince tam ketojenik sayılmaz bence, sadece hafif düşük karbonhidratlı diyebilirim. Yine de bebeğim köfteleri elleriyle tutup severek yedi.
