Heat the milk
5 minHeat the milk in a pot until it is just below boiling.
Made by slowly cooking semolina in milk and stirring until smooth, this pudding takes inspiration from Greek creamy desserts. As it contains no sugar, it suits babies 8 months and older for breakfast or an evening feed.
Heat the milk in a pot until it is just below boiling.
Sprinkle the semolina into the milk gradually, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.
Cook over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until it thickens, then stir in the butter at the end until melted.
Divide the pudding into bowls, cover loosely with cling film so a skin does not form, and let it cool at room temperature for 25 minutes.
Always check that the pudding is only lukewarm before giving it to your baby; serving it hot risks burns. Allergens: contains milk and dairy.
